The Well Community Development Corporation (CDC), a nonprofit that aims to improve communities through housing restoration and economic development initiatives, has restored 57 homes in Akron's Middlebury neighborhood for residents in need.The Well CDC will finish renovating an additional three homes this year, for a total of 60 homes.
The nonprofit is proof that residents don't have to leave their neighborhoods to find a better one. 'Thanks to the program, Middlebury residents Dreama and Antoinette Jones are back in their home following a fire earlier this year.'The Well has had a tremendous impact on our family,' said Dreama Jones in a release.
