For the fifth year in a row, WaterEquity has been named as one of the top 50 impact investment managers in the world, a distinction it has earned thanks to its focus on solving the world's water and sanitation problems, Bloomberg reports.

"Our sole purpose has always been to build a sustainable, global capital market for safe water and sanitation that will directly reach the 2 billion+ people in need," WaterEquity's President Paul O'Connell says in a press release.

The firm, which has raised more than $350 million since it was founded in 2016, has invested in projects that provide safe water and sanitation in 16 countries, including sub-Saharan Africa, where more than a third of the population doesn't have access to safe water or sanitation.

The International Association of Impact Investing has named WaterEquity as one of the top 50 impact investment managers for the 12th year in a row. Read the Entire Article
